Using the Desktop
The Apple menu is the control centre for Apple Mac users to access System Preferences, change the way the Dock works, or select a network location, obtain new software, shut down and restart your computer, and even log out. Also users can check the menu for recent applications and documents.
To start working with the Mac choose the Finder’s Go menu and select a location from the menu e.g. Computer, Home, iDisk, Applications, Favourites or by clicking on a icon in the Dock to activate a program, or double-click the Macintosh hard drive to help identify system information..
